This was a commissioned drawing for an anniversary gift for the customer's parent's. The main drawing of the parent's was a mix and match job, well, the father was. The mother was a pretty straight forward drawing, whereas the father I just had a portrait of him and snapshots of his uniform and was then asked to put the two together to create the drawing of their father in his uniform. I was given several pictures of all the family members, some were just headshots where I finished in the torso, while others were mixed and matched to get the individual portrait the family wanted for the overall drawing and others yet were pretty straight forward to do.
