This was a commissioned drawing. I was given several pictures of all the family members, some headshots and an idea of what the family wanted. The parents I worked off of headshots and created a pose for them. The children were already posed but were together. I seperated them in the drawing and put the family dog between them. A couple of pictures of the dog had been put together to create her pose. The family have a love of the outdoors and so I drew the background to match.
