These prices are for standard sized realistic drawn subject matters. However, if you're interested in a different size other than those stated here or possible different styled art (example: comic styled artwork), please feel free to email and inquire. Prices will be properly adjusted to suit the style. Other sizes, both smaller and larger ARE also available.
Digital work and Photo Manipulation
Costs begin at $20.00 for basic manipulations and digital work. Please Email Me for a precise quote on the work you would like to have done.
All Digital work and Photo Manipulations will be done at a high resolution (300dpi minimum) so that a standard 8x10 print can be made from it and will be emailed to you. Higher resolution is available at no extra charge, just indicate the size you would like at before the commission is started. If you require a disk with your commissioned work on it at high resolution it will cost an extra for shipping and handling (within Canada $3.00 includes price of the disk and shipping charges) Outside of Canada, please email to inquire about shipping costs.

Commission Requirements
1. Choose a photo that you have that you would like turned into a pencil portrait. Or, send me a detailed description of what you would like with any reference photo's. If it's a portrait you would like, the larger the reference picture, the more details I can see and the better the drawing will be. If you would like something a little different and truly unique done with the photo/image, please specify in detail what you would like or submit a photo/image of what you have in mind. I can work it either way. OR if you have a character sketch you would like done, give me a detailed description of his/her appearance, clothing and any other specific information of how you would like the character drawn (with any possible reference photo's you may want used).
Example for unique ideas for your portrait drawing: Your portrait done in medieval costumes/western costumes etc with themed background.
Example for character sketchs: character has a scar over left eye with a tattoo of a griffin on his right shoulder with commando like clothing with ammunition strapped to his chest in criss crossing belts. etc.

Copyright Notice
I retain all copyright of the image and cannot be reproduced without my written permission, and unless negotiated, retain the rights to display it on my web site & associated web sites for self-promotional purposes. I do NOT retain the character/ character description copyright and am happy to display this kind of notification with the image. I retain all printing & publishing rights (unless otherwise negotiated) and the piece commissioned may only be used for personal display by the client unless negotiated and cannot be reproduced without my written permission. You are only purchasing the artwork, not the rights.
Timeline
Commissions may take anywhere between a week and 6 weeks depending on complexity of the image, and commission availability. The client will be advised during the initial contact stage of approximate date of completion. If artwork is required within a certain time limit this must be stated up front.
Please allow 2-6 weeks for completion of your drawing from the time I receive your order and any reference photos needed. The time to complete will depend on the complexity of your commission and the number of commissions I have going at the time of your order. If you have a special date in mind; birthday, anniversary, special occasion etc, please let me know and I will do my best to get it to you on time.
Shipping and Handling
Shipping and handling charges are extra and vary with the size of your commission but starts at $6.00 within Canada. Insurance is available, but optional and only costs $1 (canadian) extra. Shipping outside of Canada is available to US and International customers, please Email Me for prices.
Methods of Payment
I require a 50% deposit before any pencil work is started for first time customers. Once your drawing is complete, full payment, including shipping and handling must be received and cleared before the drawing is shipped to you. Additional costs may be incurred if the client changes their mind after approval of the initial sketch or requests major changes on finished commission.
Major Credit cards, paypal, and money orders are the acceptable methods of payment. They should be made payable to: Patricia Ellis.
